About internet marketing
Over the past decade, the number of internet users has grown exponentially. With this in mind, it’s the obvious place for a brand to advertise and build an online presence. Whether it’s with a website, YouTube channel, a blog, or a profile on a social media platform, more and more consumers look towards online platforms before anything else when searching for a product or service.
If we bring marketing into the equation, this has always been the process of connecting with an audience. For many years, companies would rely on word of mouth advertising or billboards, postcards, and leaflets. These days, the goals of marketing remain the same, but the way we achieve these goals has changed dramatically.
I always skeptical when it comes to eBooks and courses, they are usually overpriced, and only provide basic information that you can find on any website for free. One day a friend of mine recommended me an eBook called Traffic Treasury, a day later I looked it up on the web. The website was really promising, so I thought I could give it a chance.
And I should say it's a gamechanger... One week PPC is the rage, and I was bragging about the incredible success I had exploiting Google Adwords... The next week, bum marketing is the only way to drive in fresh, targeted traffic and you’re told that if you aren’t doing it, it’s no wonder that you haven’t been successful.
It’s a lot to take in, and if you aren’t careful you’ll wind up wasting a lot of time and money chasing after one thing to another, spinning your wheels in place, no further ahead than when you began. It’s enough to drive you absolutely crazy…
